ALTON – Alton Pride is still accepting sponsors for their Pride festival set for this September.
Interim Sponsorship Director Barry Church said that right now there are 24 sponsors for this year’s event. That is a bit lower than last year, but there is still a month and a half until the festival.
“We take sponsors at all times, however to be included in print materials for Festival, August 1st is deadline,” Church said.
Vendors are also being accepted for the festival. Right now, the Pride Festival is on track to have as many vendors as last year, if not more.
And like any good festival, there will be entertainment.
“We will have Bullseye Womprats back for our last band performance as they were not able to perform last year,” Church said. “We also have Porch Cafe and Mz Goldie, who are returning this year.”
The Alton Pride Festival is set for Saturday, Sept. 9. Information on sponsorships is available at the Alton Pride website.
