A Tale of Two pandemics with Public Health’s Julie Pryde, GCAP’s Mike Benner and Jerry Carden

Forty years following the first reported symptoms of what later became known as HIV/AIDS, the theme of this year’s Pride Fest is all about health. This panel discussion with Julie Pryde, Administrator of the CU Public Health District; Mike Benner, Executive Director of the Greater Community AIDS Project; and Jerry Carden, founding chair of the Gay Community AIDS Project will share their perspectives from the beginning of the global AIDS epidemic and it’s local impact on the AIDS/HIV status today.
