Planned protest against STL Drag Queen Storytime is getting dragged

ST. LOUIS — The Riverfront Times in St. Louis has found out that there is a protest coming for an upcoming Drag Queen Storytime event. The newspaper said that a Facebook event post titled “Protest Against Schlafly Library’s Drag Queen Storytime”, organizers are asking protesters to “Come in your most patriotic gear and help us hand out brochures with information about children with gender dysphoria.”

Former Pride St. Louis board member says city threatened parade after police decision

ST. LOUIS — A Pride St. Louis board member who resigned after the parade has said that the city threatened to withhold permits unless the decision on barring uniformed police from marching was reversed. Jolene Gosha announced her resignation in a Facebook post on Sunday. In the resignation she said the city threatened to pull the parade and festival permits and that the parade organizers and been the target of harassment from a police officer who marched in the parade.

Missouri’s last abortion clinic gets license extension

ST. LOUIS — On Friday, an administrative panel ruled that Planned Parenthood of St. Louis can keep its St. Louis clinic open until August while the fight over its license continues. The Hill reported on Friday that Missouri’s Administrative Hearing Commission issued a stay allowing the clinic to continue performing abortions without a license.
